“Michaela has excelled in this course, and has a large interest in the financial world. She is a good fit for this career path”
Jacob Papovich, Finance Professor

Missions in Haiti-
I have gone to Haiti three times in the past and I plan to stay involved with the organizations there. While in Haiti, I learned how to adapt to a new culture and work with others. I was pushed out of my comfort zone and I saw nothing but positive results from this experience.
Latest Projects
Budgets-
Through my personal finance course, I have learned how to set up my own personal budget for each month and I have helped some close friends do the same. I take the time to show them how to set up an Excel sheet and offer suggestions on what to fill in.
Experience
I grew up in the church and learned at a young age that whatever I do, I do it for Christ. Service is the gift that I received so I plan to serve others in my career with compassion and a drive to do what is best for them.

Internship Opportunities-
I have found several connections through close friends and family that are involved in the business and finance world. I am shadowing and getting more social capital through meeting some business leaders and others who are doing what i want to do eventually.
"Michaela is always moving, always doing something. You won't find her sitting still for more than thirty seconds"
